Discover One of Central Pennsylvania’s Best Family Water Parks
Looking for a fun weekday activity in central Pennsylvania? On a recent Tuesday, I spent the day at DelGrosso’s Park & Laguna Splash in Tipton, PA, with just my kids. As a local mom and creator of Greater Than a Tourist Books, I love sharing simple family-friendly day trips that locals and visitors alike can enjoy.
Why Visit DelGrosso’s Park on a Tuesday?
Visiting on a Tuesday turned out to be the perfect choice. The park wasn’t crowded, and we had minimal wait times for the water slides and attractions. My kids and I floated down the lazy river, enjoyed the wave pool, and raced each other down the twin slides. There were plenty of shady areas to rest, and lots of lounge chairs near the water.
🧴 Local Tip: Bring your own sunscreen, a towel, and shoes for kids. You’ll want all three. Walking on wet cement all day can be hard on the feet.
What Makes DelGrosso’s Great for Families?
- Free parking
- Affordable admission
- Outside food and coolers allowed
- Clean, well-maintained facilities
We packed drinks and snacks, but also grabbed a DelGrosso’s spagetti for lunch. It hit the spot after a few hours in the water.
