Telling stories one page at a time.
My storytelling career began when I was in the second grade. I remember walking into a small dark room that had a soft padded cushion that I could kneel down on. Then, suddenly, I heard the opening of a secret panel. I could see a small amount of light, but that was all.
I remembered from my catechism classes that that was my cue: “Bless me father…” And roughly 35 minutes later I walked out of the darkened room.
I recall overhearing a man that was wearing a long black cape (it looked like a cape to me) whispering to one of my teachers: “Now that boy is a storyteller!”

Book: Eat like a local in Singapore
I’m an Asian American audiobook narrator based in Sacramento, CA, United States, with over 30 book titles currently under my name. With my Asian Pacific heritage and having been born and lived in Malaysia and Singapore, I have facility with a number of regional dialects and pronunciation, including Malay, Cantonese, Hindi, and Japanese.
As a long-time listener of audiobooks, I fell in love with being able to escape into a story and get ‘lost’ when I listen to them. That is what I want listeners to feel when they listen to my narration.
I love working from my home studio where all of my audiobooks to date are produced. I enjoy working with self-published authors and small presses. I am coached in non-fiction and have a strong interest in historical fiction, children, cosy mystery, romance genres.
When I am not narrating, I pay forward by volunteering my time as a Crisis Text Line Counselor. My active lifestyle consists of sweep rowing/sculling, yoga, geocaching, working on my pilates reformer.

Hi, everybody! My name is Jason, and I am passionate about traveling and local cuisines. I lived in Asia for many years—primarily in China—and I have been blessed with the opportunity to travel the world and be enveloped in many amazing cultures and food experiences.
I grew up in the northeast part of the U.S., and I eventually found my way to the West Coast after having studied and worked abroad. As an ESL instructor and trainer, I discovered that my passion was to help others utilize their language skills the same way I wished to use mine.
While I wouldn’t consider myself fully “fluent” in the language, I studied Mandarin for a few years and can comfortably communicate with others. I believe that food and languages connect people and create a sense of community among them, and I hope that everyone can have the same wonderful travel and dining experiences that I have been able to enjoy throughout the years.
