A great new guidebook to Cyprus has been published this week in the popular Greater Than A Tourist series that is available on Amazon – either in paperback or Kindle versions.
The book, entitled ‘Greater Than A Tourist – Cyprus’ has been written by Chrissie Stephen (Flint) who lived and worked in Cyprus as a writer and radio presenter for 23 years. For many years Chrissie wrote for Sunjet and Apollo Review – that were the in-flight magazines of Cyprus Airways and she was a regular contributor to both the Cyprus Weekly and Cyprus Mail newspapers and the Paphos based Grapevine magazine. For more than ten years Chrissie worked as a radio presenter on The Taste of Cyprus for BFBS Radio.
The Greater than a Tourist series has proved very popular as each book contains 50 travel tips about the destination – written by someone who knows the place well. In the book on Cyprus, there is plenty of information about lesser known places to visit including the Akamas and the hamlet of Pano Pyrgos that are of interest both for visitors and residents.
